A Full Port Flanged Ball Valve is a quarter-turn valve designed to provide unrestricted flow through the pipeline while offering secure installation with flanged connections. The bore diameter of the ball is equal to the internal diameter of the pipe, minimizing pressure loss and ensuring maximum flow capacity.
Its flanged design makes it suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter piping systems. It is widely used in water distribution, natural gas, oil, steam, HVAC systems, fire protection systems and industrial process applications where reliable sealing and long service life are required.
Advantages
Full port design for maximum flow capacity
Low pressure loss
Excellent sealing performance
Quick 90° operation
Secure flanged installation
Long service life
Low maintenance requirements
Suitable for high-pressure applications
Applications
Water distribution systems
Potable water systems
Natural gas pipelines
Fire protection systems
HVAC systems
Heating and cooling systems
Oil and petrochemical plants
Chemical industry
Industrial process lines
Power plants
Working Principle
When the full-port opening of the ball is aligned with the pipeline, the fluid flows freely without restriction. Rotating the handle by 90° turns the ball to completely shut off the flow.
